No More Quarantine Belly!
I started working with Kristine a few weeks after quarantine began. My yoga pants were starting to feel uncomfortable! Clearly, eating Rocky Road out of the carton was not an ideal strategy for improving my health, but I didn’t know where to begin.
Coach Kristine knows where to begin.
She and I had an in-depth conversation about my past weight loss attempts, current health, and goals. Together, we agreed on a 90-day plan for weight loss, exercise, and more.
We used phone calls, handouts, and the Coach Connect app to document my progress, and each week we discussed facets of health I had forgotten or hadn’t ever considered, including meditation. Three or more times a day, I sent Kristine photos of what I ate, and documented other data such as how much water I drank, and how I was feeling, physically and mentally.
On average, I lost about a pound a week, and have continued the program on my own now that the 90 days are over.
Coach K’s approach to health is comprehensive. It’s not just about food; it’s when we eat, how we eat, and how we feel after eating specific foods, along with nutrition fundamentals. I feel that I got a real education about food, and even though we have completed our 90-day program, I’m continuing to study and refine my diet. She helped me develop good habits and stay focused.
