K-Ho Chocolate Chip Cookies
Hi guys!
K-Ho here! I've tried a ton of "healthy" cookie recipes and you all know that taking the time to prep and bake "healthy" cookies is a gamble. They might come out good but most of the time they end up tasting like cardboard. I took the time and energy out for you and came up with this bomb recipe! Lots of healthy swaps but balanced so well that you seriously won't even believe that this cookie is not that bad for you! No white flour. No refined sugar. No butter. No grains. How is this even possible? I don't know but it is and you're welcome!!! It's so easy to make too! Trust me and give it a try yourself. (WARNING: You won't be able to stop eating them!!!)
Ingredients:
1.5 cups Almond Flour
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Salt
1 Large Egg
2 tbsp Coconut Oil (melted)
1/4 cup Organic Maple Agave Syrup Blend (Trader Joe’s)
1/2 cup Enjoy Life Chocolate Chips
Instructions:
Mix dry ingredients in bowl (baking soda, almond flour and sea salt
In another bowl, mix the wet ingredients (melted coconut oil, maple/agave syrup, and egg)
Combine wet and dry ingredients and mix well.
Add Chocolate chips in and mix well again.
Refrigerate batter for 20 minutes so it is easier to make into balls of dough.
Preheat oven to 350.
Prep cookie baking sheet with parchment paper so cookies don't stick to sheet.
After dough has been refrigerated, roll into small balls and place on cookie sheet. Makes about 12 medium cookies.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and let cool on wire rack. Enjoy!!!
